Three-Year-Old Preschool Class
The two day morning program is Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:50–11:30 a.m. and uses Creative Curriculum®. This session has a student teacher ratio of 16:2.
An additional morning session is held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from8:50-11:30 a.m. with a student teacher ratio of 16:2.
We also offer a three day morning program by adding Fridays from 8:50-11:30 a.m. with a student teacher ratio of 16:2.
Four-Year-Old Morning Preschool Class
The morning four-year-old program is held Monday through Thursday from 9:00-11:40 a.m. with a student teacher ratio of 20:3. We follow the Davenport Community School curriculum for four-year-olds, which consists of the following: Social Skills Curriculum is Second Step; Language Arts Curriculum is Little Treasures; Math Curriculum is Everyday Mathematics. We use GOLDS®, Wonders and Growing with Math Assessments.
Four and Five-Year-Old Afternoon Class
The afternoon session for four and five-year-olds is held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:10 p.m. and with a student teacher ratio of 20:3. This session also follows the Davenport Community School curriculum for four-year-olds, which consists of the following: Social Skills Curriculum is Second Step; Language Arts Curriculum is Little Treasures; Math Curriculum is Everyday Mathematics. We use GOLDS®, Wonders and Growing with Math Assessments.
