I was born and raised in Wahoo, Nebraska with my parents and younger sister Beth. While growing up, I was a gymnast and eventually went to Iowa State on a gymnastics scholarship. I graduated from Iowa State with an Elementary Education degree. Along with my Elementary degree, I earned my Master’s in Educational Technology from University of Northern Iowa and my Reading and Early Childhood Endorsements from Iowa Wesleyan University. My husband Chris and I have three children: Peyton, Piper and Sam. We are in the busy place of running our children to dance and soccer, but when we get our free time we love to camp, boat and, of course, cheer on the Iowa State Cyclones!!! I feel extremely privileged to work with your children and the wonderful staff at Noah’s Ark Preschool. I am one of the lucky who gets to go to a job I love every day.”
I grew up on a farm outside of Buffalo and have lived in the area ever since. Currently, I live on a small farm in Blue Grass. I have three children: Colton, Peyton, and Alexis. My husband works as a firefighter. Mr. Jeff visits and educates our preschoolers each year on fire safety. I graduated from St. Ambrose University with a degree in Communications. I worked for the QC Times until I became a stay at home mom in 2008. I spend a lot of time taking care of the animals on the farm, but when I have free time I love reading, sewing, scrapbooking, and outdoor activities. All of my children have attended Noah's Ark , and I strongly believe in the values and education the children receive in the program. This is my 6th year teaching at the preschool. I am honored to be a part of the program and look forward to making a difference.
